Business Development Manager - Birmingham based creative and marketing agency.
Developing, managing, driving the agency's new business development, this is a hugely important role for this very well established agency with a fabulous story to tell and great success with clients. You'll be measured on quality leads, new accounts, increased revenue and ROI. Working on the agency's own brand communications activities, new biz and biz dev will be second nature to you, and you'll naturally have all the skills needed.
For example: -
Using research technique for the creation of the right prospect and target list.
Using a CRM/database system to maintain quality leads and enquiries
Know the industry and the competitors
Be aware of changes and opportunities within the industry
Network regularly and confidently at industry events, seminars
Manage all sources of lead generation
Plus a whole lot more!
You must understand PR, marketing and multichannel communications in a b2b environment, ideally having had a similar role in another agency, or having sold professional services (rather than products).
Of course your amazing personality and natural excellent communication skills all add to your value!
