The Role

As Legal Secretary you will be responsible for providing a high standards of customer service and support to both colleagues and clients. By providing secretarial support to ensure Fee Earners' time is used effectively, your key responsibilities will include:

  • producing / managing documents with care and accuracy
  • maintaining client relationships through effective communication
  • managing electronic and manual files
  • carrying out financial tasks relating to matters
  • providing support with the billing process

The Person

You will have previous experience working as a secretary in a law firm / solicitors / legal practice environment. With a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team, you will also have the following skills:

  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Word / Excel / Outlook )
  • audio typing experience / ability to type quickly & accurately
  • attention to detail / communication skills ( verbal and written )
  • excellent time management & ability to prioritise
