Programme Director Worcester / West Midlands £90,000 to £105,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Reporting to the MD, this role will manage a significant multidisciplinary team (including external Consultants) in the design and submission of DCO application, prior to taking the project into Construction phase. You will lead all elements of Planning, Design and Delivery, as well as Communications, Stakeholder (incl. Governmental), Funding, Commercial and Governance/Reporting. You will drive ongoing best practice, improvement programmes and be an ambassador for the function, a key part of the Senior Management team. You will be client facing and build strong, credible and sustainable long term relationships with senior contacts, including governmental and private sector key individuals.
Our client is a major UK organisation servicing a high profile client group of national private and public businesses. This key role will lead and manage a significant Design team in the delivery of major road / transport programmes (£100m +).
You will be an experienced Programme / Senior Project Manager with outstanding leadership, management, KPI delivery and customer service skills. Your skills could come from client or consulting backgrounds and Design experience is essential - this is likely to have been gained in Roads, Transport, Construction or similar large Infrastructure environment. You will have a sound level of leadership expertise, probably degree level with knowledge of Best Practice delivery and enhancement to exacting Design & Delivery KPIs.
This role is commutable from areas such as Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Hereford, Worcester etc. and will include regular travel. Future opportunities are outstanding and the rewards package is generous including pension, car allowance and other market leading benefits.
