Manufacturing & Supply Chain Director for fast growing prestige manufacturer near Bristol

The Role

As Manufacturing & Supply Chain Director you will lead on all aspects of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing & Distribution with responsibilities including:

• maximising / optimising manufacturing efficiencies with focus on Far East facility
• increasing efficiencies of supply chain to ensure optimal stock turn / on-time delivery etc.
• integration of NPI / NPD initiatives into manufacturing and supply chain
• optimisation of Supply Chain / Work Management / ERP systems & Distribution Centre
• people and team management to ensure all roles and individuals perform at all levels

The Company

Our client is a prestige manufacturer and distributor of premium products, fast expanding, massively dynamic and is currently implementing significant further expansion plans. With manufacturing bases in UK and overseas locations (including Far East), they are now recruiting a senior combined manufacturing / operations / production / supply chain professional to support the company in its goals.

The Person

As Manufacturing & Supply Chain Director you will have UK and international manufacturing and outsourcing experience within assembly, production, supply chain, logistics and distribution industry environments. With knowledge of Best Practice, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, you will need business and interpersonal skills including:

• strong business forecast, planning and analysis abilities
• management, motivation and team leadership skills
• hands on experience of international B2C / B2B supply chain
• focus on quality, efficiency, delivery & customer service

The role requires some international travel including the Far East.
