Dynamic Technology Services Manager for market-disrupting digital energy company

THIS IS THE BUSINESS

Our client is the country's first app-only energy supplier. Their market-disrupting, consumer-focused digital energy model is designed specifically to meet the need for change in the energy sector. As Technology Service Manager you will manage technical support for users and systems. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • improving user experience for Colleagues and Members
  • accountability for proactive management of Jira service desk system
  • guide & direct on-shore / off-shore technical support teams and business partners
  • working with devops, design & development teams to understand / resolve technical issues
  • maintain Middleware, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Web, App, CRM, Billing, Smart Technologies
  • support definition of new SLAs and improve definition of those that exist
  • responsible for establishing a Service Transition process
  • reviewing / supporting improvement & documentation of ITIL based processes
  • accountable for Onboarding / Offboarding process
  • provide on call support for Major Incidents via a on call rota within the department
  • maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Pure Planet's product and purpose.

THIS IS YOU

As Technology Service Manager you have experience as Infrastructure or Service Delivery Manager in a hands-on user facing role, and experience managing cloud based infrastructure. You also need:

  • knowledge of Salesforce / AI / AWS / middleware / billing / charging in utility sector
  • experience supporting digital solutions across apps, web, middleware, and networks
  • extensive knowledge of Service Operations and ITIL processes
  • supplier and vendor management experience
  • strong communication and influencing skills
  • a flexible approach, require minimal supervision, and have ability to multitask
  • experience working with multiple priorities and deadlines

The role is office based but can be performed from home with regular visits to the office in Bath
