Building Manager needed for successful technology focused, London based business

Several full time positions available in various locations across London. Office based, Monday to Friday

The Role

As Building Manager you will be responsible for running an efficient, safe and profitable building environment with customer service at the forefront of what you do. With responsibility for a small team your responsibilities will include:

  • creating exceptional building environment to support members personal and professional needs
  • supporting member connections through events / introductions; instilling a sense of community
  • ensuring building is staffed appropriately at all levels, managing annual leave
  • regular building walks to maintain building standards / security / checking access cards & control doors
  • reporting maintenance / facilities issues, working closely with maintenance, facilities & cleaning teams
  • provision of meeting room service and hospitality
  • oversee member on-boarding / off-boarding to ensure a smooth welcome / departure
  • arrange quarterly client catch ups to review service, respond to comments & action feedback
  • arranging daily plans /schedules, overseeing opening / closing, conducting team meetings
  • conduct probation reviews, appraisal meetings, objective setting, managing sickness and absence
  • invoices / billing / POs / petty cash management /Licence agreements / direct debits

Our London based client is building a new team for their head office. It is home to a fast growing and diverse workforce.

The Person

As Building Manager you will have extensive people management / HR / customer service skills. With a good knowledge of buildings Health and Safety Regulations you will also have the following skills:

  • ability to manage & motivate team / employee resourcing
  • knowledge of MS Office - Word and Excel
  • ability to work to deadlines / manage workloads efficiently
  • financial awareness / cost effective building management skills
