The UK currently has record high levels of employment – and for the first time in many years, finding and attracting the right candidate for a role is proving to be more challenging.
The UK Unemployment Rate fell to 4.6% last month, the lowest rate since records began – and that is fantastic news for the British economy.
But with Brexit on the horizon, how long is this likely to last?
BBC News recently announced that Tesco is cutting 1,200 jobs at its London head office – this follows the intended closure of their call centre in Cardiff at the cost of another 1,100 roles!
They may not be the only ‘corporate’ to announce such initiatives – and as always, we are keeping a very close eye on the employment market.
